I broke her heart ten years ago and left town.

She hates me, and rightly so. It doesn’t matter that the rest of the country loves me, that I’m a starting quarterback with a multimillion-dollar contract. Because when I look in the mirror, all I see is a failure who was too young—and too afraid—to fight for what I wanted.

But I’m not that guy anymore, and all I need is one sho

I knew it might be a little awkward joining a team where the assistant manager is my high school sweetheart. We were each other’s first loves, first everything. We gave each other our virginity, and after that, she gave me her whole heart. I gladly took it, and our breakup wasn’t easy.

This cover tho!! Holy hell. I cannot stop staring at this gorgeousness.

Dear Jane is a sweet and somewhat emotional second chance romance. I went in blind and expected something completely different based on the title and cover. I was pleasantly surprised by Weston and Jane’s story.

Here’s what I enjoyed:
The main characters - Weston and Jane have a complicated history, so when he returns home they’re both a bit blindsided. Regardless of the tension, they both know their past relationship and chem
“The world just feels so much more right with her in my arms.”

Dear Jane by Kendall Ryan is a sexy, swoon-worthy, second chance romance that hit all of my emotional buttons. Jane and Weston’s story took a turn that I didn’t expect but it made the love story richer and more beautiful. These two were high school sweethearts that shared each other’s firsts, and that included first heartbreak. Ten years later and that heartbreak is as fresh as the day it happened. When Weston Chase crashes back int

The H broke h heart, left her for football, got engage, broke up with his fiancee BECAUSE she cheated on him, then meets his ex and wants second chance with her? I don't want to judge I really don't, not after loving Flirting with forever, but so far I'm not liking the sound of it. I hope I am wrong and its a good book. Also, I really really hope there's lots and lots of grovelling and h is very strong and doesn't think with her vagina.

Kendall Ryan really knows how to write awesome contemporary romances. Dear Jane is a sweet and steamy story about forgiving and second chances. And although it’s not an absolutey 5-star read for me, it’s absolutely worth the reading.

I just can’t wait to read Finding Alexei!

I do love me some second chance romance. It doesn’t really matter if it’s an angsty or sweet, though I will be honest and say I do like a good serving of angst, I simply enjoy watching as two people come to the realization that the attraction, the connection, that they once had is still there and work through the issues that drove them apart and Dear Jane served up a good dose of that for me. It was a sweet, funny and smexy ride that while low on the OTT angsty drama, it did serve

As always Kendall did not disappoint, I was sucked into this story and kept telling myself just one more chapter, just one more until the very end. If you are a second chance romance junkie like myself then prepare to fall head over heels in love with Wes and Jane's story. A story that was fun, sexy, witty and filled with explosive chemistry that will have you begging for more!

Kendall Ryan is still one of my A1's, but I think this is one of those cases where my expectations were set a little too high (y'all know how I feel about sports romances and second chances and Dear Jane is both) and my experience with the book is colored by it. While I enjoyed Jane and Wes' story, everything unfolded a bit to conveniently. Jane had a really strong reason for disliking Weston when they are thrown into each others lives again, but she seems to get over it rather quickly and with ...more

“He tasted like gin and lime and heartbreak, and so many things I won’t let myself think about right now.”

Dear Jane is just the kind of second chance romance that I can’t get enough of. The characters are entertaining and certainly suck you into their story. The tension is intense and the chemistry keeps you begging for more. Dear Jane is the kind of story that you can easily devour in just a single sitting and that will leave you with a goofy smile on your face.

Kendall Ryan can portray a myriad of heroes across all genres but Weston Chase is one of my absolute favorites as he was real, honest and on a quest for redemption. It takes a strong man to admit when he was wrong and Kendall Ryan unequivocally delivered and then some with Wes. He was emotional, raw, intense, sexy af and absolutely delicious!

Second chance romances are my favorite stories. There is something about the shared history and wronged feelings that bring out the perfect angst-filled, e

Dear Jane was my first Kendall Ryan book. It had great banter and character development. A good back story as well with Jane's reasons for letting Weston go. Also football. That's always a plus!

As much as I enjoyed this story, I also feel that it just kind of fell flat for me. I went in with really high expectations as I know that Kendall Ryan has so many great releases and a lot of devoted readers. Dear Jane just didn't do what I wanted it to. This could also be an it's not you, it's me situat

This was a sorta DNF...

I was in a mood for a grovel read. but this didn't satisfy that itch. Too easily, this hero worms his way back into the heroine's life. Then he does something utterly dumb again. And thats when I lost interest. In any case, I didn't really feel the attraction between them. Nor did I understand how quickly the heroine let her guard down after ten years of anger.

5 Star Review Dear Jane by Kendall Ryan
Wow this was a bit like riding an emotional roller coaster. What do you do when the man who shattered your heart suddenly reappears in your life and wants to reconnect?

Weston Chase, left a heartbroken Jane behind in his pursuit of a football career. Fast forward 10 years or so and Jane now works for The Hawks, the team her father coaches. When their QB is injured and out for the season, they need a replacement and Weston is the man. How can Jane work with

Super cute, sexy and light(ish) second chance romance.

Weston is a football player who has made a name for himself in the world of the NFL. Not for his antics but for being a hard player and good at the game. When some personal things get him drafted back to his home town there is nothing but venom coming from the teams assistant manger Jane.

You see Jane and Weston used to be in love, back when life was supposed to be easier but things didn't work out as planned and now ten years later ther

Weston and Jane have history, once upon a time they were each other's everything, then his dream of playing under the big stadium lights came calling and Weston bailed on Jane and never looked back. It's been ten long years since these two have spent any time together, and now they are about to be spending copious amounts of time together, which means things are about to get real interesting. Weston has just been traded to a new team, has a lot to prove, and doesn't want any distractions ... but ...more

A perfect second chance romance with a football sports theme equals a whole lot of fun, sassy, swoony and sexy.

I adored both Wes and Jane. Loved that they had a past. The supporting characters totally added to the story. Alex was a great character and I loved his friendship with Jane. Then Colin was an awesome friend to Wes. I felt bad for Wes at the very beginning of the book when you first find out why he was traded.

Jane was just a spunky little thing with her heels and attitude.

Playful, steamy, and fun!

Dear Jane is a heartwarming, second-chance romance between the charismatic, kind, ruggedly handsome Wes who still regrets letting his high school sweetheart slip away, and the sweet, hardworking, intelligent Jane who coped with more than just a broken heart when Wes left for college.

The prose is light and crisp. The characters, including the supporting characters, are engaging, quirky, and amusing. And the plot, from start to finish, is filled with lust, longing, emotion

I have grown to love each one of the stories that Kendall Ryan has written starting with Monster Prick, falling in love with each one of the Kingsley brothers and every romance in between. Something about her stories resonates in my heart and always leaves me with a happy ever after glow about me. Opening Dear Jane was no different yet not the same. I always fall in love in a new and different way than her story before
